Jessica Young has always had an active career in the medical industry. For nearly a decade, she was an Emergency Medical Technician, where she supported patients in need of emergency services. This ultimately got her foot in the door at a tissue bank back in Montana, where she worked for four years in their central sterile department. She quickly relished in helping people find new life with regenerative medicine.
She then had the opportunity to continue her tissue banking journey with Pinnacle Transplant Technologies upon moving to Arizona. She currently serves as the production supervisor within the central sterile processing department at PTT, making sure that the instruments used in the processing of donations are clean, sterile and packaged appropriately.
Like other associates at the company, Jessica recognizes the importance of her everyday responsibilities.
“The most satisfying part of my job is knowing that we are helping people by honoring the gift of donation and improving lives,” she said.
She is also particularly fond of the family-friendly culture of the Pinnacle organization. As she put it, the company truly cares about its associates as well as the larger community in which it resides. In many ways, this entire experience has even given her more motivation to advocate for the gift of life-improving donation in her personal life.
More recently, she was awarded the “Associate of the Month” for April 2019. Here is what those around her had to say about her contributions to PTT:
“Jessica has shown a tireless commitment to develop and execute any task needed to reach Pinnacle’s goal of resolving our equipment issue. She has remained positive in the face of adversity and led her group in doing everything it takes to keep production moving with a can-do attitude. She has shown great leadership, determination, and willingness to keep PTT running and successful. She has risen to every challenge put before her, and continues to impress with her focus on achieving results.”
We appreciate all of Jessica’s efforts in supporting the mission and growth of our company. Congratulations, Jessica!
